Largely forgotten these days, Marvel and Hanna Barbera teamed for a line of comic books in the late 1970s, and while they seldom touched on action adventure, TV Stars #3 featured an adventure packed lineup all scripted by my most frequent collaborator, Mark Evanier and with graphics by three generations of artists.
The lead Dynomutt tale was drawn by Paul Norris, who co-created Aquaman at the dawn of comics.
The issue’s finale was Space Ghost drawn by his designer, Alex Toth, who was one of stars among the second wave of artists to enter the comics field. (Toth also provided the issue's outstanding cover art.)
And there, in the middle of the book was a five page Herculoids story penciled by me 3 years before co-creating the DNAgents and inked by Dave Stevens 2 years before his creation of the Rocketeer.
